The Forest Management group conducts silvicultural researches related to the management of multifunctional mixed-species forests in an era of global change.
We investigate ecological processes at the scale of individual trees, tree populations and forest stands using tree rings, forest inventories and phenological data.
Woody plant species are important structural elements of forest ecosystems. For research and teaching, we collect and process empirical data on the biology of woody plant species (genetics, physiology, morphology, ecology).
